LHP's New Maintenance Screens

Lansing Housing Products wants to announce our new Maintenance Screen design that we have recently added to our line of safety and security screens. For several years we have worked closely with many clients regarding their ongoing screen issues. Housing authorities, along with other types of managed family housing, continually struggle with screen maintenance, security and child fall safety. Also, during this period of time LHP has continually worked with the Minnesota state Legislature to bring forth Laela’s law, a movement to finally regulate screen and window safety in Minnesota. We have worked closely with the National Association for Child Window  Safety to develop products to prevent those child falls from windows with inadequate screens. Along with this motivation, LHP continues to work with maintenance departments of Housing Authorities, as well as other types of affordable housing to reduce maintenance costs due to continued screen repairs. Along with the child safety and the reduction in maintenance costs, these screens also increase the security level of the windows they have been installed in. Now we have developed a screen with a 0.25” profile that will fit into almost all windows with an existing screen track.
